Since it probably takes place decades before the start of the film saga, features new characters, and explores the dark side of Force, could this be a Prequel series worthy of The Mandalorian? What might it be about? It could be one of the most creative, too. That synopsis doesn’t give us much, but does tease a darker show than what we’re used to from Star Wars. Revealed during Disney’s Investors Day presentation in December, The Acolyte is “a mystery-thriller that will take the audience into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark side powers in the final days of the High Republic era.”
