Can't even imagine to play this game without a redesigned Leliana and Morrigan (loved the sacred ashes trailer). On or at the bioware social network are some really good ones. I would recommend using a few mods for improved atmosphere. There are only few good items in locked chests, mostly its just grey crap only good for selling.
The rest may be funny, but this three are the most detailed characters.ītw lockpicking isn't that important. (I killed Wynne so Morrigans personal quest without a mage was quite a challenge)īut I think you should form your party with the characters you like and not take Wynne only because she's a healer (god, how I hated her, good thing there are mods to respecc morrigan <3) Best characters in my opinion are Alistair, Morrigan and Leliana. Morrigan (Arcane Warrior/Bloodmage) I think the shapeshifter specc is just useless, so I respecced her via mods. The characters I was most attached to was Morrigan and Allister which is sad because if I want a healer and a Lock picker I can only have 1 of them, Leliana kind of annoyed me. I'm thinking this time around it will be Leliana as ranged (this time actually putting points into lock picking) Wynne as heals, and the last spot to either Allister as tank or Morrigan as Mage, unsure which of those two are more important, is it essential to have a tank and healer in this game? or just a healer, or perhaps just a tank? So question to all of you, who have played DAO, what was your party like?and what class were you? I've decided to start again (Dwarf noble again) because I've forgotten a lot of the story, since it was so long ago I last played it, but also because I was reading up and a healer is important, when I met Wynne who I believe is a healer, I kind of accidentally killed her, so no healer.
I was a Dwarf Noble, warrior dps with a 2h, my party was Me, Allister (tank) Morrigan and Leliana as ranged. So, I played this game up to the point where you go to the dwarf city with a treaty, I was level 11.
